Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Mysterious Affair at Styles

I picked up this DVD at the library yesterday, we watched it last night and the costumes were simply lovely. I thought I would take a few captures to share with you! Being a TV show episode instead of a movie and also the fact that the main characters are all men makes it difficult to focus on a specific person or even just a specific costume. Also, as this is a bit older (and made for television) the picture quality wasn't so great, it's sort of "grainy". So what I did was to go through the film and focus on getting one or two good shots of most of the woman's clothing instead of trying to capture every little detail of every gown. I hope you enjoy!

Setting: Upper class English countryside in the year 1917.

Birthday Flowers

I know these people, three people to be exact, who have birthdays in February and all in the same week!

I used this tutorial from Grosgrain to make the clips. Instead of trim I used 1" wide strips of fabric folded in half and pressed.
