Movie Quote Trivia

I saw this on Ashley's blog and we had so much fun with I just had to do one too!

1. Pick 20 of your favorite movies.

2. Go to IMDB.com and find a quote from each movie.

3. Post them for everyone to guess.

4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly (I decided to turn them red so you can still read them easily), and put who guessed it and the movie.

5. NO cheating.

The movies are in random order because I believe there are some among you who know the correct order of my favorite films. Also, I'm putting the answers (as they come in) lower down on the page instead of right next to the quotes so that you can still answer them even if they are red (yes, you may answer as many as you want, after all, that's the fun of it!). Oh, and I tried to make it hard because I know that most of these films are very well loved! Have fun!

1. Tell me that wasn't fun!

2. If you cannot think of anything appropriate to say you will please restrict your remarks to the weather.

3. I felt the rush of a thousand heartbreaks.

4. Oh, my goodness. Everybody behave naturally.

5. It is so uncomfortable not having a carriage of one's own.

6. She wrote in such distress. There were exclamation marks.

7. You're coming home with me.

8. It ought to come like leaves to a tree, or it better not come at all.

9. Whatever you write, could you please include a pump and two washing tubs, I've just bought them at a sale.

10. Shake me up, Judy!

11.  Look at that demure little head. And all of us wondering what's inside it.

12. Oh, no. Oh, no. That's... that's not the way to do it. Upon my soul, you mustn't just barge in here saying you want to know, you know.

13. It's Latin. Loosely translated, it means... we cheat.

14. It is not what we say or feel that makes us what we are it is what we do... or fail to do.

15. There's an eye-opener, and no mistake.

16. Don't try to be a hero! You don't have to be a hero, not for me!

17. That man is so full of himself it's a wonder he can stay on that horse.

18. What you both need is a jolly good murder!

19. She saves me from an inferno and she's glad she happened to be awake.

20. Try not to kill my dogs.

Mother's Day Quilt

It seems that yet again posting has come to a standstill! I have had a very busy week! Here are pictures of the lap quilt I made for my mother. I used scraps for the squares and broadcloth from Jo-Ann's for the border and backing. The pattern is my own.
