While we were shopping last Friday I found a vintage coat at one of the antique stores we visited. After a great deal of persuasion, being made to try it on twice and having my attention drawn to the wonderful price I was convinced that it should be purchased.
I still don't know that I love the color. As I told Kate, I'm not a huge fan of jewel tones. But, I do have to admit, it is pretty cute.

Welcome!
Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Darcy's Dressing Room!
This blog is my place to share with you movie reviews, screen captures of beautiful period costumes and my historical sewing projects. I do not post here very often as this site takes second place to Standing in the Sunlight and both blogs always give way to faith, family and friends! Please use the guide below to navigate around the site and most of all enjoy your stay!
