'As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.'
-Genesis 50:20 (ESV)
As Christians we are promised trials and tribulations (Jas. 1:2-3). Though this may sound like a dim prospect we can take comfort in the fact that God has a plan and everything that happens to us is part of that plan. When something bad does take place we can know that it is for the good of ourselves and others (Rom. 8:28).

i am so grateful that while God allows us the freedom to do wrong (even while He does not sanction it), He works even through our evil choices to bring about His glory! (also, it's comforting that He lends me His strength to *choose* the Right - i can't do it alone.)
wonderful verses, friend. :)
