Today we made pajama pants. Pants can sometimes be confusing but all the girls did a great job!

Sewing Camp - Day Three

Skirt day! It was also a rather interesting day as we had no AC downstairs. We pulled out a couple of fans so it wasn't all that bad. The girls all did a great job on their skirts, I think it was the first time some of them had used a real pattern.

Today the girls made tote bags. It was fun to see all the different prints and colors!

Summer Sewing Camp 2009 - Day One

Outside there is drenching rain, inside there is one tired sewing teacher! Don't get me wrong though, it was a good day! Today we made nine-patch pillows. The six girls all did a wonderful job and I hope they are all looking forward to tomorrow as much as I am!

Mama and I were invited to a wedding shower for a church friend the other night. And such trouble it was deciding how to wrap the gift! This was tried and then that.

It turned out rather nicely when finished. I can't take much credit for it, although the using tulle was my idea.

But what was Georgia Beth doing whilst we were busy gift wrapping and picture taking?

And wasn't she pleased with her little self!

Another lovely gown from Propstore. I love the back lacing and the ruched skirt.

Extras

These were worn by extras in the movie Inkheart and are currently for sale at Propstore. I think they are kinda cool but I can't help wishing they were the lady's costumes instead of the gentleman's.
