When Roses Cease

When roses cease to bloom, dear
and violets are done,
When bumblebees in solemn flight
Have passed beyond the sun,

The hand that paused to gather
Upon this summer's day
Will idle lie, in Auburn.
--Then take my flower, pray!

-Emily Dickinson

That's a gorgeous picture!
BTW, I finally got around to doing the "random things". :)

I saw you'd been over at my sister-blog, so I thought I'd drop by!

Emily Dickinson is my favorite poetess. :)
