First Snow

It's been a lovely morning thus far. First there was this:

I know, it's not much. And it only stuck to the roof and walkways. But it's still snow! I can't remember the last time we had it this early in the year.

Then there was this:

Lark Rise to Candleford season 4! Since Masterpiece released it's extremely disappointing Classic season list (half of what their showing are reruns!) it's nice to have something to look forward to.

Then I found this:

I want this so bad it hurts. really. bad. And looking at the price (almost $300 per box!) makes me want to cry. So I'll just look at the picture and try to ignore the price tag.

On another note, I have a folder on desktop labeled "Christmas Gifts 2010" with pictures of everything I've made and bought so far just waiting to be revealed come January. I'm working on two gifts right now (one sewn and one knitted) after I finish those there are just three more to make and then I am done! Done, done, done!

: -)  : -)  : -)

(My brother insists that smiley faces need noses. What do you think?)

Double Vintage

I have been doing a ton of sewing and knitting and crafting over the last three or so weeks... but I can't show any of them 'cause it's all for Christmas and I don't want certain people who I know read this blog to see-ee!

However, here is something I can share. This is a special order I recently completed for a customer on Etsy. Sorry the pictures aren't that great but they are the only one's I have.

Little girl's dress size six in blue broadcloth white sateen contrast and a mother-of-pearl belt buckle.

Ladies' pajamas size 14 in Moda cotton. I used the sleeves from the Regency gown pattern instead of the sleeves that were in the pattern as the customer preferred puffed sleeves to straight.

Have a great week! Oh, and you can look forward to a Great Big Christmas Gift Post in January!

Williamsburg Vacation - Winter 2010

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! See you again soon!

"The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!" - Psalm 50:23
