Tomorrow...

Is the beginning of a new year.

Right now...

There is no sin in that year,

There is no suffering in that year.

It is clean.

It is fresh.

It is a blank page.

On that page...

I will write,

My family will write,

My friends will write

and

My heavenly Father has already written.

Many blessings and hopes to all who stop here for a very happy New Year!
With Love, Caroline

Building Their Houses

"Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his upper rooms by injustice, who makes his neighbor serve him for nothing and does not give him his wages,"
Jeremiah 22:13

"The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down."
Proverbs 14:1

"Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain."
Psalm 127:1

"And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Joshua 24:15

"Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn her seven pillars."
Proverbs 9:1

Christmas Gifts 2009 Part 1

Good morning everyone! I have given a few Christmas gifts and I thought I would post them for you to see! Also, some bad news, I sent two of my mail away gifts yesterday without taking pictures of them! It never even occurred to me to do so. Sincere apologies. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures for you.

We went to Grandpa and Grandma's house Saturday to celebrate Christmas with them.

I made Grandma a new tote bag as she had mentioned that her's was wearing out and a crocheted washcloth to go with it. I think this may be the best tote bag I've made so far, (sometimes they don't turn out)!

Several years ago Grandpa saw my Wee Folk dolls and he asked me if I would make some for him. Every Christmas since then I've given him some members of the Fellowship. This year I made Sam and Strider (who does have a sword I just forgot to pull it out where you could see it).

When I told Lillian I was making Sam she got very excited and was full of helpful suggestions like "Oh, you have to make some little pots and pans. He just wouldn't be right otherwise!"

She also wanted to know if I was going to give him a little leaf brooch. I said no because I hadn't done it on any of the others I had made so far. But, I did add it to the one I was making for her!

Lillian's favorite hobbit is Pippin so I thought he would be a good gift for her.

That's all for now! I hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas thus far!

Christmas Gift Teaser #2

Hello all! So sorry to have been absent for so long. I have been very busy with all things Christmas-y. As you can see I have been knitting (quite a lot actually) and, as I enjoy viewing movies while I do such things, I have also been watching Little Dorrit, one of my favorites!

Going now, back again soon!
