And Brown Too

I decided to make a new apron to wear during sewing camp (I thought it might be nice to have pockets for once!). I pulled out Butterick 5263 (another unused pattern!) and took the envelope to Hobby Lobby where I found this lovely home dec fabric on sale for four dollars a yard! I then proceeded to buy the wrong kind of bias tape but I made work, I forced it to go on!, and actually, I like it a lot.

Oooooh, how pretty! Someone made me that apron for an apron swap earlier this year - she said she had a real hard time applying the bias tape, and from your picture, it looks like your "wrong" tape purchase was probably a blessing...looks like you bought narrower-than-it-called-for tape, which probably went on a whole lot easier around all those narrow curves. Anyways - it turned out very nice...wish I was going to sewing camp! Sounds like fun :-)
