Shells

So, do you want to know how long it took me to take a good picture of this pillow? Well, first I had it on the bed. No good. Then I put it on the sofa. No good either. I then proceeded to walk around the house in circles with said pillow in one hand and my camera in the other seeking for divine inspiration (or something like that).

It came.
It came in the form of a yellow chair.
Ah! the satisfied photographer.

The fabric is Ginsing by Joel Dewberry in a light cotton twill. I didn't use a pattern. I made it for my mom to give as a birthday present.

I LOVE this photo, Caroline! I am glad to know that I am not the only young woman who walks around the house with objects in hand trying to get some inspiration for a beautiful shot! :)

I find myself doing the same sort of pacing when I want to take a really good picture, only I have the most serious look on my face. (Or so I've been told.) Great picture!
