Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Mysterious Affair at Styles

I picked up this DVD at the library yesterday, we watched it last night and the costumes were simply lovely. I thought I would take a few captures to share with you! Being a TV show episode instead of a movie and also the fact that the main characters are all men makes it difficult to focus on a specific person or even just a specific costume. Also, as this is a bit older (and made for television) the picture quality wasn't so great, it's sort of "grainy". So what I did was to go through the film and focus on getting one or two good shots of most of the woman's clothing instead of trying to capture every little detail of every gown. I hope you enjoy!

Setting: Upper class English countryside in the year 1917.

I adore this sailor style blouse.

I really liked this black vest.

I love the embroidery on this one.

I liked this yellow dress and get a load of her shoes!

Another lovely outfit. I wish I could see more of the jacket.

And last of all this pretty green dress.

We grew up watching Poirot. I have many happy memories of us all sitting together, trying to figure out "who done it." : ) I do love the costumes and I also love the art deco decor.
